We learned the job on a team.
Doug, Brock, and Thomas grew up playing. Doug and Thomas coached. Thomas still coaches Cowichan Minor Hockey.
Sport taught the things the business still runs on: show up, tell the truth, handle a loss, do the work for the person beside you. One season can do that for a kid who would otherwise watch from the stands.
This is not a campaign. It is the legacy we want the work to leave.
